JOIN OUR TEAM:

CELLAR & PACKAGING TECHNICIAN
Starting Salary: 40-50k (40hrs/wk)

This role is all about keeping our tanks, lines, and kegs immaculate — scrubbing, sanitizing, and ensuring everything that touches beer meets the highest brewery-clean standards. As a Packaging Assistant, you’ll also inspect, package, and prepare the final product for shipment off-premise. It’s physical, hands-on work where attention to detail and consistency directly protect beer quality and flavor.

Key Responsibilities:

Tank & Vessel Management (Cellar):
•  Thorough cleaning and sanitizing of fermenters and brite tanks (CIP and manual scrubbing as needed)
•  Monitoring and executing daily cellar processes
•  Carbonating finished beer in brite tanks to precise volumes and specifications
•  Transferring beer between tanks while maintaining strict sanitation protocols

Line & Keg Hygiene:
•  Regular cleaning and sanitizing of all tap lines, beer lines, and transfer lines
•  Cleaning, inspecting, and preparing kegs for filling (interior and exterior)
•  Disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling keg fittings and valves

Packaging & Final Product Handling:
•  Inspecting finished beer for clarity, carbonation, and any defects before packaging
•  Packaging final product into kegs, bottles, cans, or other formats as required
•  Labeling, palletizing, and preparing packaged beer for transportation off-premise
•  Loading finished goods for delivery or shipment while following proper handling procedures

General Brewery Cleaning Duties:
•  Daily and weekly deep-cleaning schedules throughout the cellar and packaging areas
•  Maintaining spotless floors, walls, drains, and equipment exteriors
•  Proper handling, storage, and disposal of cleaning chemicals and waste
•  Performing routine maintenance and inspections on cleaning systems (CIP, pumps, hoses, etc.)

Requirements:
•  1–2 years of relevant experience in a brewery, cellar, or packaging environment preferred
•  Willing to fully train the right candidate who demonstrates strong work ethic, attention to detail, and reliability
•  Ability to work safely with chemicals, in wet/slippery conditions, and around brewery equipment
•  Strong commitment to sanitation and quality standards

Perks:
•  Generous beer budget (enjoy the fruits of your labor!)
•  Brewery swag to rep the brand

You’ll work closely with the brewing and packaging teams to ensure every batch leaves the cellar and packaging area in
perfect condition. Success in this role comes from pride in your work, reliability, and understanding that in brewing,
cleanliness is everything.

Physical Demands:
Expect a full-on, active workday involving lifting, bending, climbing tank stairs, working in wet environments, and using
cleaning tools and PPE for extended periods. Ability to safely handle 50+ lb kegs, cases, and pallets is required.

- This is a foundational position -
When the cellar, lines, and packaged product are spotless and properly handled, the beer shines.
If you take satisfaction in turning a dirty tank into a gleaming, sanitized vessel
and getting great beer ready for customers, this role is for you.
